We’ve been noticing while worshipping with different congregations that info about the camp is being included in their newsletters and announcements.  Thank you!  Spreading the word person-by-person about opportunities and events coming up is critical to the success of new programs.

Text Box: Dear Parents, Youth Leaders and Pastors,
The vision for a youth day sprouted from the desire to provide a gathering place for teens where relationships can begin that can carry over to school, synod events, summer camp, visits to other schools for sporting events, worship with friends at other churches, etc.
So we’ve got a full day of fun planned including a rock climbing wall, music and food, and thanks to the sponsorship of the Highlands Conference, there is no cost to youth.  If successful, we’d like to do more such events in the future.  So share this info

ULA 2009

The United Lutheran Appeal for organizations in ministry with members of the Virginia Synod is being held during the Easter season this year.  Keep an eye out in your congregations for this year’s bulletins – we’ve included some great pictures worth a thousand words.  Your financial support allows the nine institutions to continue to care and provide for the various needs of individuals and groups with a gospel rooted in grace.  Please call us if you are interested in someone speaking to your congregation on behalf of the ULA.  276-783-6521
