Creek Cabin

This smaller of the two cabins is located on the bank of Hungry Mother Creek. It consists of a main room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and bathroom. The main room has a fireplace with insert, seating, and a dining table. There are two sets of bunk beds in each bedroom for a total of eight beds. It has a bathroom with shower and a full kitchen. It has an ample side yard along the creek with outdoor grill and picnic table.

Log Cabin

Sleeps 12

This historic cabin consists of a main room, separate bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. The main room has a fireplace with seating, a large dining table and three sets of bunk beds. Three more sets of bunk beds are located in the separate bedroom for a total of twelve beds. It boasts a full kitchen and bathroom with double sink and shower. Relax on the front porch overlooking the large activity field where deer and turkey often come by.

Bunk House

Sleeps 40 with free usage of Shumate Hall

The sleeping quarters of our bunk house is divided in half with each side containing twenty beds. In addition to the forty beds, there are separate bath facilities with each consisting of three showers, three sinks, and three toilets. Included in the rental of the bunk house is the private use of Shumate Hall.

Hemlock Trail Campsites

For the bold and adventurous we offer five primitive tent sites. Each site contains a tent pad, fire ring, picnic table, and lantern hook. These sites are close enough for group camping yet secluded enough to offer privacy. Located along Hemlock Trail, these site are easily accessible to our Hillside Chapel amphitheater and the pavilion. Drinking water and firewood are available on site.

Shumate Hall

Accommodates 80 people – DAY USE ONLY

Shumate Hall houses our main commercial kitchen and dining hall/multipurpose room. When not reserved in conjunction with a bunk house rental, Shumate Hall is available for rent for day use. The kitchen houses all stainless steel prep tables, double oven six burner stove with griddle, large two door commercial refrigerator, triple stainless steel sink, large walk in pantry, ice maker and more.  Provided in the dining hall/multi-purpose room are folding tables and chairs for seventy people. Also included is a pool table and ping pong table. Our outdoor patio seats an additional thirty two people on wooden tables with umbrellas and three picnic tables are also located outside. There are ADA accessible men and women restrooms and a washer and dryer is located in the utility room for your use.

Virginia Montgomery Pavilion

Comfortably accommodates 150 people

If your needs require a private shelter with large seating capacity you have found it. The Virginia Montgomery Pavilion will seat comfortably in excess of 150 people and includes ADA accessible restrooms and a full kitchen.  Included in the kitchen are a standard stove, double sink, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Cooking supplies and utensils are limited so consider bringing those items. The Pavilion can be rented for a half or full day.

Whole Camp

Enjoy exclusive use of all facilities and grounds when you reserve the Whole Camp for one flat rate with no number limit. RVs, personal tents and day-use visitors welcome at no additional charge. Please note that we do not have any separate RV hook-ups. Due to the discounted nature of the Whole Camp rate, this option is not eligible for any special discounts.
